Every year the games industry – PC, mobile and console – stands together on One Special Day to raise vital income to help the gamers’ charity SpecialEffect level the playing field for gamers with disabilities. Partners are invited to donate sales revenue or participate in other ways with the aim of raising £250,000 to bring magic gaming moments to people of all ages who can only watch everyone else have all the fun.
One Special Day this year is Friday 2nd October. Just Trains are proud to be a part of it for the first time and we’ll be donating all the day's profits from our own Just Trains titles on the day to this worthwhile charity.
SpecialEffect Vice President and Just Trains CEO, Andy Payne, had this to say:
“I have been a proud supporter of SpecialEffect for many years and it was fantastic when the team at Just Flight decided to support One Special Day this year. We really look forward to our flight and train simulation communities finding out more about the amazing work SpecialEffect do as we run up to that very special day in October, which is even more important this year, given the Covid19 crisis which has reduced much of the fundraising events that SpecialEffect would have put on.”
